Ticketmaster 'Will call' pickup of tickets by international visitors: have you experienced how it works? (specifically Denver's Red Rocks auditorium)

We booked some concert tickets using the Ticketmaster 'will call' option (instead of mailing them to you, you pick them up on the day when you come to the concert) for Denver's Red Rocks venue.

How long should we leave to pick them up? Should we expect long lines? Has anyone any tips?

Thanks in advance

I can't speak for this particular venue, but in most cases it's never more than a few minutes transaction. 1/2 hour before the start of the show would be sufficient.

I've never had a problem with Ticketmaster will call tickets. If you booked them online, a copy of your confirmation is handy. Or, just have your confirmation number. Sometimes, they ask that you have the credit card you used and a picture ID, though this is rarely requested.

The will call line usually moved quickly, they ask your name, then hand you and envelope with your tickets in it.

Make sure you have with you the credit card that you used to buy the tickets. They'll ask for it.

However, if you are planning on Red Rocks being an auditorium (from the title of your post), do I have a surprise for you!

Red Rocks is an open air ampitheatre. The reason I raise the point is, depending on the time of year and the weather forecast, you may wish to dress differently than you would for an indoor auditorium.

If you've seen the video for U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday" from the album "Under a Blood Red Sky": that's Red Rocks.

Dwooddon thanks! That is v. helpful info. I just used the word auditorium as it sounded a v. generic American word as I wasn't sure if it was a stadium or a big concert hall and wanted some vague word to describe it!
I hadn't realised that was open air- but am glad you told me.

We're going to the Gypsy Kings and they'll sound great in an open air venue- methinks. We chose reserved seating. I'm soooo looking fwd to it.

Dweebe- will try to keep my eyes peeled watching MTV for the U2 video. thanks.
