Three or Four Nights in Moab?

I am starting to work on the pacing for a 10 to 12 night trip that will include Moab, Mesa Verde, Monument Valley and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon starting in either Grand Junction or SLC and ending in Vegas. We won't be doing Zion and Bryce on this trip.

Moab is going to be on the front end of the trip and I can give it three or four nights.We like to hike, but moderate day hikes are best. It seems like at least a full day at Arches and one at Canyonlands and another for more sightseeing elsewhere would be a good plan so I am leaning towards 4 nights. Is that too many?

Any thoughts? Thanks.
