Things to do in Napa Valley Besides Wine Tasting

Hello there,

My wife and I will be meeting up with other family for 5 days in the Napa Valley. A couple members of the party do not drink alcohol (pregnancy, religious reasons) so we need to plan activities that will be interesting to everyone. We will be based in Napa but willing to drive up to an hour from Napa in any direction for day trips. Please let me know what else there is to do except wine tastings and winery tours in Napa so we can include thoses who will not be drinking. Any activities welcome as we have a diverse set of interests.

Thanks,
John

Golf, Spas, Hot air balloon rides, outlet mall shopping, picnics, and plenty of dining options. It is fun to tour the wineries (caves, buildings, grounds, vineyards etc..)without drinking.

While most people go to Napa and Sonoma for wine tasting there are plenty of other things to do in the area. Shopping, dining, Napa Valley Wine Train, educational tours, helicopter tours, dining, spas, hot mud baths, biking, visiting the geyser, olive oil tasting, etc. Here is an article that covers a number of activities that you can do in the Napa Valley area that that don't (or don't need to) involve drinking alcohol:

Many of the wineries also have deli shops with nice selection of breads, cheeses, olives and fruit for a relaxing picnic lunch.
