Things I Missed Seeing in Tennessee

After a three night stay in Memphis, I'd left myself only one day to cross the state and meet a friend in Kingsport for dinner. Here's a partial list of what I missed seeing along route I-40:

Shiloh Battlefield
Nashville
Loretta Lynn something
Dolly Parton something
Casey Jones Museum
Birthplace of Davy Crockett
Crockett's Tavern
Indian Mounds archaeological site
Assorted Andrew Jackson sites
Something dedicated to Andrew Johnson (considered one of our worst presidents)

I wish I'd had more time to see, at least, Shiloh and the Indian Mounds. I thought I'd share this so that people who may have shortchanged Tennessee have a chance to rectify that, should they visit. I also found the mountain country to the east to be extremely beautiful.

Is Memphis your hometown? Perhaps you could tell me where all the people go. We walked a mile from our hotel to Sun Studios and passed only two people!
