The Ritz

Has anyone stayed recently at any of the Ritz's in Florida? Key Biscasyne, Ft. Lauderdale, Naples, etc. Which of the Ritz's is the most kid friendly?

I have not stayed in any of the Florida Ritz Carltons but a friend of mine goes every year with husband and two children. They have been to Key Biscayne, Naples and a third one that I cannot remember. WHile they enjoyed all, they say that Key Biscayne is the kid-friendliest and their favorite.

We have stayed at the Naples Ritz Carlton on the beach and the Amelia Island Ritz with our kids, and both were quite kid friendly.

I have stayed at the Key Biscayne, Palm Beach, Coconut Grove and South Beach. The one in PB was very nice and lots of kids. I believe they had an area all set up for children. The KB had lots of kids too. I find that the Ritz goes out of their way to make their hotels kid friendly. I have noticed the last 10 years or so how many families with small children are staying at the Ritz's. The one in Cancun really do a fantastic job with the kids. I watched one family last year with 3 small children as the staff at the Ritz spoiled them to pieces. Everyday they had little bags made up with beach toys, snacks, little bottles of water. Coloring books, pirate hats and eye patches. It was just adorable and I wanted to be a kid too. Little brownies and cookies for them.

My friends stayed at the FLL Ritz and said it was fantastic. Don't know about the children stuff, but mommy and daddy have to have a good time too.

We've stayed in the Amelia Island Ritz and it was wonderful, but I wouldn't necessarily call it "kid friendly" because there just wasn't that much for kids to do. Our son and I went horseback riding along the beach but in our group he was the only child.

we've stayed at the Ritz in South beach (not too kid friendly but our choice when in south beach), palm beach (to me kid friendly enough but would rather go there as a couple), Coconut grove (kid friendly ) and naples-- the most kid friendly. I would guess KB is also very kid friendly.

We have stayed at the Key Biscayne Ritz almost every year since 2001. Needless to say, we love it. We don't have young kids but it seems very kid friendly. The service, location, food and people are excellent. It's also quieter than being in South Beach but it is very easy to get anywhere (or you might easily decide to just stay at the Ritz).
