the next Amazing Race?

Does anyone know when the next season of The Amazing Race is starting? I just saw an old article yesterday online that said it was set to premiere on Sept. 25. And I remember CBS's website saying it would premiere Oct. 2. But as of today, I'm pretty sure it hasn't aired at all yet. And CBS's website for The Amazing Race 6 has no information on it at all... What gives? Anyone heard when it will actually start? Thanks!

Still no concrete date, but the article says late October or November. Thanks, Carrie!

I just saw the preview. The two-hour premier is set for Tuesday, November 16. And somewhere I read that they are starting in Chicago! Team information is now up on the CBS website.

What a gas that they are starting in Chicago! I'm disappointed that I missed the filming in August. And I'm even more disappointed that no one consulted the fabulous Fodors posters of Chicago to help design challenges with local flavor.

For example, we already have a Hike Up the Hancock, a charity event where teams climb 100 flights of stairs in one of the world's tallest buildings. For Amazing Race, we'd add a Chicago style deep dish pizza. Contestants can choose to eat the entire pizza before scurrying up the stairs, or to carry the pizza on top of their heads. Sure would be fun to watch!

They seem stuck on having beautiful contestents. Even the 66 year old grandmother looks like a babe in the photo on the website.
