Tampa - Busch Gardens for seniors

My wife and I will be in Tampa next week and looking for some activities. My wife is in her 50's and I am in 60's; both active. Wondering if Busch Gardens is a destination that would have interest to us. Not really interested in amusements and rides; but not certain what else Busch Gardens may offer

DH and I enjoyed just walking around Busch Gardens. We also really liked the Dali Museum: http://thedali.org/home.php There are also beautiful beaches. St Pete's beach and of course, Desoto: http://voices.yahoo.com/fort-desoto-...a-7047826.html

It's St. Pete Beach
I would not prioritize Busch Gardens if you are not interested in rides; plus now that schools are out it will be, um, VERY kid-oriented.

You could kayak off of Honeymoon Island; the Dali is good, so is the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Pete (not St. Pete Beach, either of them); the Museum of Art in Tampa is good; you could walk around Ybor City, visit the little NPS museum, even book a walking tour if you like, see cigars being rolled, etc..

I'd go on, but I don't know if you've already done these things or if any of them sound good to you. If you tell us the kinds of things your looking for in activities we could help more...
