Super Shuttle NYC

On our recent trip to New York, we booked the Super Shuttle to and from JFK through Expedia.
I made the booking on the assumption that since Expedia were offering it, it would prove reliable. Regrettably, this was not the case. Service upon arrival was not too bad, although we had quite a long wait and they would not take an advance booking, despite what was stated on our vouchers.
However, the real problem was on return. I tried to contact them 24 hours before as requested, but could not contact them by phone until the actual morning of our departure. The woman I spoke to was surly and unhelpful, and we were unable to book a pick-up for the time we requested. We had to settle for an earlier time, which in the end turned out to be just as well.
We were told to wait outside the hotel at the time specified, in fact we were there in good time. However, the driver did not arrive until 25 minutes after the set pick-up time. He denied any responsibility, and accused us of not being there at the right time. He said he had phoned the hotel to let us know he was there, but we were in clear view of the concierge and doorman at all times - this was clearly not the case.
On eventual pick-up, the driver was rude and unco-operative. The ride was most uncomfortable, made more stressful by the fact he drove with one hand on the wheel, the other on his mobile phone. We then proceeded uptown from our hotel in Times Square for further pick-ups. Due to his lateness, the next customer had already left for the airport in a taxi. We then headed back downtown for one final pick-up, just around the corner from our original hotel. This was now an hour after our scheduled pick-up time, and we were in the same place we had started in.
So with a 2.25 pick-up, we actually arrived at JFK at 4.30pm.

Originally booked this as an additional extra to make things easier, but in the end it only added to our stress. I would think twice before booking with them again. Obviously I have only had dealings with the New York branch, but it doesn't fill you with confidence!
