Suggestions for Discount Tix for NYC Attractions
Will be spending back to back weekends in NYC in late June/early July with my husband (one weekend) and teenage daughter (the next). Looking to see the following: Pompeii the Exhibit, Harry Potter the Exhibition, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and a show (leaning towards Mary Poppins). The only constant is that I get to enjoy all the above. Looking for recommendations on finding the best deal for these attractions. Thanks in advance!

For a Broadway show on a weekend in June or July, you'd better buy your tickets soon if you want a particular show, especially at a discount. You may already be out of luck for the Statue of Liberty (if you want to climb the pedestal ... certainly it's too late to go to the crown).

The current discount offer for Mary Poppins on broadwaybox.com expires on July 3. If you want to see the show after that date, then wait a a couple weeks or so and there will probably be a new offer.

SoL and Ellis Island costs what it costs. Agree you are probably too late to climb the crown - but should still get ferry tickets and those for the base now - or you will spend several hours waiting on line.
Agree Broadwaybox.com is the best way to get discount codes for Bway plays. Mary Poppins has not been well received although tourists seem to like it - but they have been discounting regularly to try to fill the house.
Sorry - have no clue about the others - wouldn't consider either.

Thanks all. Went online and ordered tix to Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty Pedestal, as well as the Pompeii/Harry Potter Exhibits. I was able to get a bit of a deal on the exhibit tix as I bundled the two and the tix are in my name and I'll be there for both exhibitions. Looks like we will not be seeing Mary Poppins as there are only matinees available both days we are there and there are just too many things to do during the day. So, I'm looking for an alternative for us. This will be for myself and 14 yo daughter who has seen everything from Mamma Mia to Wicked to Lion King to Rent so I'm open to suggestions.

Since you're seeing the Harry Potter exhibit, I assume she's a fan of Harry Potter. If that's the case, then I would further assume that she would love seeing Daniel Radcliffe in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
