I will be going to Kansas City this Sunday and want to take some family out to brunch or lunch after an event near 103rd and Metcalf. I'd appreciate suggestions for a place near there for a group of 10.
Thanks,

We had a group of 8 and had dinner at Jack Stack BBQ, 13441 Holmes Rd. The food was great and reasonably priced. I think it's near where you are. It was really, really good BBQ.
If you want JAck Stack BBQ for brunch -- there is a closer one at 95th and Metcalf. If you want something nicer, go to The Bristol at 119th and Nall (Nall is just a few blocks east of Metcalf.)
Bristol is a bit pricy but very good
Cinzetti's Italian Market Restaurant, 7201 W 91st Street (Metcalf & 91st St) (913) 642-0101. Good italian food, all you can eat. The food is prepared at different cooking stations, filling a large room.
They do a great job of handling groups. If you call in advance, you may even get a private area. Brunch is $13.99 for Adults, $9.99 for Seniors.
I particularly like the Calamari Fritti and the chicken spedeini. Some of the deserts are awsome. Menu at

Another vote for the Bristol. Best Sunday brunch in town.
I like Lidias - close to the Crown Center area

Thanks very much for the suggestions.

You might try 40 Sardines. 119th a few miles east of Metcalf. Creative cuisine.
