Suggestion for Hotel by Ford Museum/Tour

Good Evening,

I am looking for hotel suggestions for a place around the Henry Ford Museum. We are going on a road trip and will be spending a day visiting that attraction and am wondering where is a good place to stay around there.

Thanks in advance!

If you check the museum's website, you'll find a list with hotels at all price points, campgrounds, and B&Bs. Most also offer packages that include lodging, tickets (some include breakfast). https://www.thehenryford.org/visit/p...tion-packages/

I live in the Metro Detroit area and really have never looked at options in this area. So I just looked at the options on The Henry Ford site. Any of the Dearborn locations would be best. Do NOT pick any of the Southfield locations. They are not close to The Henry Ford and they are not in a good area. Most of them are around an abandoned shopping center that was a nice place in it's day.

I recently stayed at The Dearborn Inn, less than a mile down the road from the museum. It was very nice and they have a shuttle to the museum and Greenfield Village. Very nostalgic for me as I grew up within a mile from the Inn.

Is the Holiday Inn Express in Dearborn by Southfield? I have read different things that it is a great hotel but then some that says it is in an area that is run down.

Thanks in advance.

The Dearborn Inn looks nice but I do need to make sure I get 2 queen beds and the Dearborn Inn is Double Beds. Thanks!

The Holiday Inn Express - Dearborn is not by Southfield. It is in a good location for your visit. However, I would call the Dearborn Inn to double check the availability of the beds you want.

We were just there a couple of months ago and stayed at a Hampton Inn in Dearborn. It was very new and nice. I would recommend it.
