Is anyone planning on seeing the Stein Exhibit at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art set to open soon? I'd love some feedback when you return.
Is the area around the museum safe to walk around? If you go in late afternoon and stay until closing is it okay to walk back to Union Square from there?

Yes and yes - there are some very nice hotels in the area, a very very high-end residential/hotel project, some good restaurants (including a great one in that same residential/hotel project), etc.
Great. Thanks, sf7307.
By the way, what is the name of the great restaurant? Maybe we can go after the museum.
I heard the exhibit will take up the entire floor and will be her collection of not just Picasso but also Renoir and Matisse. It sounds interesting.
My husband just showed me the ad for the exhibit, so we'll probably go too. We each have memberships through our respective employers.
The restaurant is Ame. (We usually eat in the museum cafe, which is quite good)

Thank you. What about the restaurants on
Belden Place? Are they more reasonably priced and equally good?
