I made reservations for our family at a brand new Embassy Suites opening in La Vista the first week of July. Is La Vista a good area and close enough to Omaha (the zoo, etc)?
We are a family of 6 and I got a great price but will change if needed.
Thanks!
Stay is La Vista area while visiting Omaha?....

Location is very good just off the interstate and about twenty minutes to the zoo.
There is a Cabelas store right across the street for the sportsperson in the group.
The one drawback to the area is restaurants there isn't much selection yet but there are plenty within a ten minute drive.
I wrote an aunt who lives in Omaha to ask. She said:
I think the LaVista motel would be fine and a good location for zoo attendance.
Thank you, hulajake and traveler2005 (and traveler2005's aunt!). I appreciate your help!
