We didn't take the ride, but enjoyed Tombstone for a weekend visit. Thought this might help give you a general idea: http://www.discoverseaz.com/Cities/TSEvents.html

Just took the stagecoach ride in Tombstone last March, and while it was interesting, it would depend on what interests you. If I remember correclty it was $5 per person. It does take you through the town, and the "guide" tells you a lot of history about the town, buildings, fight area, bar brawls etc. as you get to each place. You can get on and off at various stops, but I did not do this to know how quickly the next stagecoach comes. If you are really interested in history of the gun fights and earlier times in SW, the tour would be more to you liking. I thought it was too much detail about too many places in too little time. Tombstone was interesting with re-enactments on the weekends. I am not sure if those are done on weekdays since I have been there during the week and had nothing unusual except the stagecoach. The weekend had period dress, horses, gunfights, etc. with a street blocked off for the activities. I would recommend you check with Chamber of Commece to see if that operates in the summer heat, if that is why you want to go to Tombstone.
