Will you be in the hotel a lot or you just looking for a hotel to sleep and drop your luggage.
There aren't a lot of choices but if you want a prettier hotel I would recommend the Omni hotel at Union Station (theres a few stores/restaurants not a great selection at all but the entry into the hotel is very pretty and you can have a drink in the lobby to relax. The Adams Mark is right nearby. Nothing special but they have a sports bar at the hotel. Hope that helps
The new Westin downtown is the best hotel in the city of St. Louis. Not that there's much competition. St. Louis has a really mediocre selection of hotels. Just nothing at all special. The Westin stands out among this crowd. But it's not as close to the middle of downtown as some of the more typical convention hotels. Depends on whether you're a hotel nut or just need a place to sleep.
Won't be spending a lot of time in the room. Just want a hotel within walking distance of the Con. Center. Thanks..
