spring trip to scottsdale - where to stay

We are three couples looking at a trip to the Phoenix area in early March. We are planning on booking a house or condo for a week, possibly through VRBO.

Can anyone help with recommendations for which area of Scottsdale? Or specific rentals?

We will be doing some golfing, maybe one or two rounds on better courses and one or two on less expensive ones.

I was in the area five years ago and played golf at Troon North so that is pretty much my familiarity of the area.
