We will be in Wellfleet from Friday, July 20 - Saturday, July 28. We are looking to split a sport fishing charter with 3-4 people. We are willing to do half or full day, leaving from anywhere between Orleans to P-Town. We don't have a plan set in set but email us if you are interested and we can develop a plan together.

Most charter captains here in Nantucket will arrange such a trip for you. I assume the Cape has more or less the same rules. The cost of fuel is so high that they cannot afford to go out with fewer than 4 to 6 people, so they will add you to a scheduled trip to make up that number. On the other hand, most will not overpack a boat, and when you see one coming in with a crowd, it is usually an extended family.
Find the boat, talk to the captain or the person on the dock making the arrangements, and you will be set.
You no doubt know that the ability of captains to find and catch fish is not evenly distributed, even though everyone goes basically to the same places. Ask around tackle shops, boat dealers, people where you are staying.
