Spas in Vegas

Going to Vegas for a week of celebration - have decided on lodging and food, but also LOVE to spa! Am thinking of the Qua Spa at Ceasers, the Spa at Bellagio and the Bath House at THE Hotel Mandalay bay - how does that sound? any other spa recommendations out there? many thanks!

Forbes Travel Guide rates spas (also hotels and restaurants) and it's hard to garner 5 or 4 stars (only 25 five star restaurants and 30 5* spas, for example).

Here are their top choices in Vegas for 2012 per http://blog.startle.com/forbes-trave...-award-winners :

Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Spas
The Spa at Encore Las Vegas, Las Vegas
The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, Las Vegas
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, Las Vegas
The Spa at Wynn Las Vegas, Las Vegas

Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Spas
Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Venetian & The Palazzo, Las Vegas
Spa Bellagio at Bellagio, Las Vegas
Spa Mio, M Resort, Las Vegas
The Spa at Aria, Las Vegas
The Spa at Trump, Las Vegas

I have been to the spa at the bellagio and the Canyon Ranch Spaclub at the Venetian and the one at Ceasars. The one at Ceasars was so long ago that it would be unfair to rate it.

My Mom swears by the spa at the Aria (and the hotel itself).

we also went to a spa at the JW Marrott las Vegas Resort and Spa and we were pleasantly surprised it was excellent. It is outside of the strip area though. We were in Vegas for a week and did have a car so we drove over and it worked out great.

If your staying on Strip I personally recommend the spa at the Venetian. It was beautiful and had the best service. For off strip properties definitely the Spa at Green Valley Ranch or Red Rock Hotel and Casino. Truly an upscale relaxing experience away from all the craziness. As a local I've tried most of the spas after a night of hardcore partying.
