Southern States Itinerary Advice

Jump to last reply

A quick question...we will be travelling to Savannah, Charleston and Asheville, before spending a weekend in Knoxville visiting our son. We have 3 nights in Savannah (arriving late in the evening) and I can't decide whether to spend 2 or 3 nights in Charleston, leaving 1 or 2 nights in Asheville. I get the sense that there's more to see and do in Charleston, so I'm inclined to spend 3 nights there and only 1 in Asheville.

Your thoughts and advice most appreciated.
