Sonoma restaurant recommendations please

I've found lots of recommendations for Napa side restaurants on this website but not many on the Sonoma side. Can someone please recommend two types of restaurants.....

1st... A restauant where we could easily take our 14 year old daughter. We're not looking for McDonalds but she's not the most adventurous person in the world. Just a place where we could all find something that we like.

2nd... An excellent restaurant for my husband and myself. We like pretty much all types of food including seafood, Italian, beef/chicken..etc.

Thank you

Lori,

First of all, hit Taylor's Refresher. It's in St. Helena (Napa side) but great fun for you and your daughter. Fab milkshakes! A very hip fast food joint.

My favorite place for the adults would be Mirapoix in the town of Windsor (Sonoma side). Beautiful, delicious, romantic, quiet, excellent service. It's a small quiet place which is a rarity up there. I found most restaurants to be very noisy.

I'm ready to go back- enjoy!

Think you could take your 14 year old to either The Girl and the Fig or Piatti (if only for the excellent pizza margharita which I love) They are both located on the main plaza of Sonoma town. If you wanted a more romantic place for you and wife: Madrona Manor in Healdsburg or Bistro Ralph in Healdsburg.

I highly recommend Della Santina's Trattoria in Sonoma, just off the square. We had a big family dinner there and all age groups were very pleased. Ask for a table on the patio, it is very charming in the evenings.
