I live in Pittsburgh and my sister has recently moved to Tulsa. We are trying to select a location somewhere in between to meet for a long weekend sometime in October or November.
A city or resort would be fine. We mostly just want to be able to have a few good dinners and just visit.
Flying into a hub has been discussed but I would love some input from you seasoned travelers.
Thanks for your help

Unless Terre Haute Indiana is your idea of a fun town, Either go to St. Louis and the Gateway Arch or someplace in Louisville Kentucky. Both cities have some great eats.
I'll put in a plug for the Ozarks where there are many hotels and scenery, e.g., Branson area or Lake of the Ozarks. You can do your own search. But this isn't far from Tulsa and accessed from an airport there or St. Louis. Of course there are lots of other destinations.
