Bardstown is interesting. See My Old KY Home, the cathedral, and Talbott Tavern where you can have a meal. Natural Bridge and the Red River Gorge are good hikes. The Lexington area has the horse farms. Louisville has Churchill Downs and museums. We have Mammoth Cave National Park. Harrodsburg and Boonesborough have reconstructed pioneer forts. Pleasant Hill is a former Shaker village with original buildings and wonderful food. Berea, Cumberland Falls, the Cumberland Gap, all the state parks are very nice. I can go on. . .
