My husband and I might be travelling this weekend, and on the way back home, we might stop in the Smoky Mountains area to spend one night. I'd love to find a small cabin in the woods for one night; would love a great view, porch, not too hard to get to.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Trip Ideas
There are so many places! Can you be a little more specific about price and location? We stayed above Gatlinburg for several days in Sept and it was 150 a night (2 bedroom), hot tub, pool table, etc...
Here are some good Inns in the Smoky Mountains area you might consider:
Richmont Inn

Folkestone Inn Bed & Breakfast

Check the actual recommendations they have.

we'd like to pay $150 or less per night. Don't really care about location. We'd be coming from Kentucky, so probably going through Knoxville. Thanks for any information you have!
sherry, call Oak Haven Resort and see if they have one night available. They will rent for only one night if they have an oddball check in/out.

You might also check with Dancing Bear Inn over in Townsend and see if they have a one nighter.
Thanks for the ideas! We have to wait until after the appointment with doc tomorrow to make definite plans.
