Sisters' Getaway Weekend

We would like to find an ideal place for birthday weekend getaway for 6 sisters. We are looking somewhere between/close to Lexington, KY and Roanoke, VA. We can go this spring or early summer.

Lawrenceburgbb, you may have missed it in the site terms, but advertising is not allowed.

jcparr, my first thought was a cabin somewhere in the Smokies - not really between the two cities, but a 4-hour or so drive from both. You could easily find a cabin that would accommodate all of you.

Check out Pleasant Hill Shaker Village. You can reserve rooms in the old village houses and eat good food in the Trustees' Dining Room. It is located on the Scenic Highway between Lexington and Harrodsburg.
