Shopping for a guitar in Seattle

What would be the best store or stores to shop (at) for a guitar in the greater Seattle area? Most important are: (1) largest selection and (2) best prices.

For unique, top quality guitars DH loves Guitar Emporium in Seattle, but for the best prices and selection it is always Guitar Center, no matter he is at the moment. He has had GC drop-ship equipment and accessories to him in out of the way places like Jakarta, here on Maui and Kansas.

If you know what you are looking for, check out the pawn shops.

Trading Musician The
5908 Roosevelt Way NE
Seattle, WA 98105 - 2744
(206) 522-6707

Here's a suggestion for a venerable old favorite. Best? Biggest? Maybe not, but lots of guitars and people who think of little else. Enjoy.

here_today_gone2Maui: We got short on time and could only go to one guitar store. We chose Guitar Center, which wasn't too far from our hotel. Daughter bought her first electric guitar, and son (already an accomplished guitarist) found an amplifier he loved (which they are shipping to us). Thanks for your help.

Glad to see the kids came home happy. I hope you got equal shopping time. In my house a trip to GC earns me reciprocal trip to Macy's.

After GC and Easy Street Records, and Robson Street in Vancouver, there wasn't much left for me to shop with!
