I am headed to Key West what is the cool style of shoe there? Don't say Birkenstocks as I would rather barf than wear those! Thanks!

One of the few places on earth you don't have to worry about stylin' is in Key West. Sandals, flip-flops, flippers, they're all the rage down there. It's great.

Darling, the best shoes to wear in Key West are 4 inch stilletos. Trust me honey, you will be the hit of the party.

Yes, birkenstocks. Or sandals or a comfortable pair of walking shoes.

ssurp is correct -- wear anything you want. Just make sure they're comfortable.

Shoeprincess, if you are worried about fashion Key West is not the place for you. The only heels you will see are on the Drag Queens on Duval. Don't try to compete.

Maybe shoeprincess is a drag queen! Girlfriend, wear those Manolo Blahniks and strut honey, and if your trying to look casual and cool, stick with the JP Tods, a bit more subdued. And Birkenstocks puhleeze! That granola eating, flannel wearing, butch look is so 90's! Sashey girl, sashey!

Go to Kino's in Key West & select one of their sandals, they are great & comfortable as well as a good price!

Depends . . . if you are walking around Key West, blisters will make you love comfortable shoes. I ended up buying a pair of the most comfortable and I think they had some attractive ones at the Memphisto place on Duval. Not cheap, but boy were my feet happy. Now if you are competing, by all means, go for style, just stay close by!

Casual & comfortable, however you define it. Kino's are made on the island. There are different styles, one popular is the like a leather flipflop.

Birks are always in style here. You should take a look at them.
