Sheraton Seattle

My husband and I will be attending a meeting in Seattle the end of July that's headquartered at the Sheraton. I understand the rooms have recently been remodeled but the reports I've read have been less than glowing. If we stay on the concierge floor should we be satisfied? Another option is staying at a different hotel, but it would need to be VERY close as we'll be entertaining people staying at the Sheraton. Any advice?

My husband attended a conference at the Sheraton in Seattle last summer and we stayed at the Grand Hyatt. It is beautiful and right next door to the Sheraton.

I certainly would be satisfied on the concierge level of the Sheraton. It's a first class hotel in a superb location. The Hyatt is newer but also more expensive in most cases.

I stayed in a corner suite at the Grand Hyatt for $109 last year. Thought it was a great deal for the quality of the room and location.

Susan, it's a nice hotel. Large, but nice. I think you will enjoy it. I stayed there last summer for 2 nights and had a good time.

Thanks, everyone! I feel like with the Grand Hyatt so close we have two good options now. As an FYI, the rates at both places are considerably higher than other people have gotten...over $300 a night!
