We happen to stop at the Shake Shack last week on 86 Street. It was a treat after denying myself for weeks in preparation for a visit to the cardiologist.
We had not been to Shake Shack in years. The lines are the usual deterrent. The burgers and fries were oversalted and the burger was tiny but flavorful on an ordinary bun. The french fries were just a hair above average but the vanilla shake was rich, cool, and creamy.
It is fine but not worth the time and effort unless you are passing by and are in a dire need of a burger.

I would agree with Adu's review. It's fine. If you get there right when they open you can be in and out in no time. Kids love it. I love their shakes.
