SF hotel question...

Hello - I'm flying solo into SF on Sat Aug 16th for 1 night and then back to Philly the next day (will be in LA the days before).

Going to see Bruce Springsteen at Pac Bell - any convenient hotel suggestions?

Hyatt Regency Embarcadero. You can walk t Pac Bell (20 mins) or take the streetcar from in front of the hotel(15 mins.). Very convenient. Have a great time!

This hotel is right on the Embarcadero and you could walk to Pac Bell.

Thanks - the Hyatt is booked so I'll try the Griffon - looks nice and convenient.

ddog9876,
If you get a room at the Griffon (or even if you don't), try the restaurant in the hotel, called Red Herring. There are plenty of restaurants in the area - the acclaimed Boulevard, One Market, as well as Ozumo for stellar Japanese food. Have a good time.

We had a pleasant stay at the Harbor Court Hotel (only six blocks from Pacific Bell Park).

ddog,

Just out of curiosity why didn't you see Springsteen in Philly? He was playing at Lincoln Financial Field Friday and last night and agian tomorrow night, not to mention the many performances at Giant's Stadium. Why go to SF, of all places, just for a concert??
