Sequoia NP conditions?
We're planning Sequoia NP to visit the week of May 15, but see some rain and snow in the forecast and some recent wet weather, plus warnings about river dangers.
Are normal day hike trails open and not too muddy?

No river dangers in Sequoia itself as it is on a plateau high above the valley; Kings Canyon may be another matter. We were there on May 27 two years ago, and the impression was that amenities had just opened. But the trails were clear and open.
