Seeking Advice: Moving to Florida or South Carolina

Jump to last reply

Currently I live in Wisconsin, and have lived in Orlando, Florida the past two summers doing an internship with Sea World. My boyfriend and I are recent college graduates and are looking to move to Northern Florida or South Carolina. He is a wild land firefighter, and I am a writer. We both love the outdoors: hiking, mountain biking, surfing, paddleboarding.

We don't want a big city, but don't want to be in an entirely remote place. (A happy medium would be idea!) We would like to be somewhat near an airport, and not too far from the ocean.

Any advice on locations would be absolutely wonderful, and greatly appreciated!
