Sedona or Flagstaff Dec. 25-26th?
Hello!
I posted recently about where to eat for Christmas dinner in Sedona, and now my husband is questioning why we are going to Sedona in the first place. I didn't have the best answe for him, other than it was a place I had heard of a lot. Our original plan (and we have made hotel reservations, but they are fully refundable at this point) was to drive to Sedona on the 25th from Mohave in the AM and have Christmas dinner, spend the night and explore in the AM/afternoon before heading up to Flagstaff and spending a night there (and going out to the Museum Club). Is that a good plan, or would you suggest spending two nights in one or the other? Why? Thanks!

Stay 2 nights in Sedona and you will love it..
Flagstaff is a whole different animal..stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites.
Sedona is one of the prettiest places in the world..
Flagstaff is ok and about 30 minutes or less to Sedona.
Please go and have dinner at Yavapai at Enchantment resort..
I almost think this is a 'troll' question but I answered you on a post earlier..
I think you really need to do more research!

I'm not a troll, I swear, I've just never been to AZ before and most of the recommendations I see on here are for the summer time. I just spoke with my husband and we are going to stay both nights in Sedona, if our reservation can be extended. I just called and made reservations at Bistro Bella Terra for Christmas dinner as they are doing the normal menu as opposed to a prix fix one. I know you recommend Yavapai, but I have seen a lot of recommendations for the Cowboy Club. Which is better (I see that Yavapai is more upscale and the Cowboy Club seems similar to Cafe Bella Terra, am I correct?)? Thanks again

I am glad your not a troll..hee hee
Just when the questions is why are we even going to Sedona vs. Flagstaff, that sets a red flag warning.
You and your husband will love Sedona and Yavapai is lovely for Christmas dinner..Is the Cowboy club open for dinner? Love that place but if it is open, you will probably have to wait awhile.
Have a great time!
