Sedona lodging with pool and kitchen?

We are planning on traveling in mid April to Sedona. We have 4 boys ages 16,14,20, and 7, so we need a nice place to stay where we can cook our own food. We also want a place with a pool to keep the boys entertained when we are not out site seeing. Would love a condo or villa where there are grills as well. What is weather like then too? Any suggestions of where to stay?

There are any number of timeshares in Sedona that would fit the criteria. I am familiar with Los Abrigados, Sedona Summit, Ridge on Sedona Golf Resort, and Bell Rock Inn. Any of them would be fine, but I prefer them in the order listed. The first two are right in Sedona / West Sedona and the last two are in the Village of Oak Creek, about 7 miles south. Check to make sure wherever you stay that the pool is heated.

The weather in Spring can be unpredictable. I have run into snow/sleet coming into Sedona near the end of April, but it could also be in the 70's and 80's during the day. At night it could get down into the 40's.

We stayed at the Sedona Summit several years ago and were very pleased. The condo was very nice, with kitchen and also a washer and dryer. The pool area was nice. We were there in January and were able to sit out by the pool several days. It was cool in the mornings and warmed up in the afternoons. There were also several restaurants and a grocery store near the condo.

My favourite place to stay in the area is Junipine.

Junipine has no pool. But it does have a creek. It has snowed in oak creek canyon the 3 times we have been there in April
