Sedona lodging for 6

My husband and I will stay at the Enchantment for 2 days, and then my parents, brother and 2-year old son will come up from Scottsdale to join us for a night. We are hoping to find a reasonably priced 2 bedroom suite, and liked the Hyatt ($198 for 2 BR) but it's sold out (Valentine's Day). Any other recommendations? Thanks very much!

Sounds like a fun trip. Did you see all the hotels listed on tripadvisor.com? Maybe one of them would have a vacancy. (Some have the word "villas" in them - may be big enough.)

Head to the Doubletree. Great views and the service is wonderful. They have a full breakfast every morning also.

Talk to Enchantment about one of their Cassitas that opens to a multi-family suite... they will certainly want to keep you there and after hearing your story, they may upgrade you to such a unit... we had a similar situation and they priced the upgrade at $250/for the night for the entire suite for kitchen, master, junior suite and murphy bed... its worth a try!!!

I agree with Gary about speaking to Enchantment about your situation to see what the resort might have to offer you. Your parents will really appreciate Enchantment!

Thanks for all the responses. I called Enchantment but guess I didn't get the right person because they offered the regular rate, which is too expensive for all of us ($950!). It turns out the Hyatt gave us a 2 BR suite with pull out in living room for $139! Of course, we need to sit through the time share promotional talk but it's such a good deal we don't mind.
We're really looking forward to our trip!
