Trip Report Seattle with a slow Walker

Hi- This is a long delayed thank you to all who advised my husband and I re. our trip to the Seattle area. We stayed, as advised by several, at the Edgewater which was terrific since it is on flat ground and has the free shuttle go by the door. We loved the water location and the hokey decor but especially the views from the balcony - the water and Mt. Ranier; couldn't be better. We even enjoyed watching the cruise ships. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel- a bit pricey but yummy and worth it for us given the fatigue factor.
The elevator route to the Market was fabulous and we enjoyed happy hours there and at several restaurants right on the waterfront. We rented a car and parked it free on the street right across from the hotel. Super easy.
Drive trips to wineries and Mt. Ranier were easy and the boat to Friday Is. was wonderful. The dock is right next to the hotel.
The shuttle bus there made seeing the island so easy for my husband.
