Here is the free bus zone map. http://metro.kingcounty.gov/tops/bus...-area/map.html
After September Seattle will no longer have a free bus zone.
Are you flying to SEATAC or riding on Amtrak to get to Seattle?

Is this the type of calendar you are looking for?
Anybody live in Seattle that can give a better answer?

tomfuller..it is kind of you to help tttman.
A review of a previous tttman post indicates tttman has not been very considerate in kind to the volunteers here who try to help with travel questions.
Suggest tttman that you do some basic research: and if you ask for help, please be considerate of the volunteers trying to assist you.

Ttman , have you tried searching the archives of this site for previous but VERY very useful questions and answers? It is correct Fodors etiquette to do so. Folks often begin with googling for info first, then searching the fodors forum archives and THEN they have specific questions to ask. Showing, in your question, that you have put in some work yourself and tried these avenues first will go a long way towards focusing the exact question you need an answer to.
Otherwise folks get tired of googling for websites for you that you could so easily find yourself, and your welcome would soon be worn out.
For example, what did you find on the web about seattle bus lines, fares and other transit before you posted your question?
Did you try googling "discovery park" and looking for a map before you asked where the parking was?(on tide pool question)
Looking forward to more questions from you on a wonderful city, AND to seeing the research you do before you post.
1jar is on target.
Have a good trip.
