Hey Travelers,
I'm heading with a tent trailer from Seattle to the Yellowstone then up to Glacier park
Looking for recommendations for a "must see" treasures on the way - we'll be camping so "heavenly" spots and nature attractions are what we'll be looking for.
Any special attractions in the parks are welcome too... ![]()
Cheers

Unless you have reservations in YS (don't remember whether they take them) I would recommend planning on staying in the Tetons. Just a few miles south and a much nicer park for camping in. We stayed in YS 1 night a few years ago, and had the WORST camping xperience of our lives. We moved to the Tetons the next night and stayed 5 days. We were in the southern most campground in the Tetons, it had no view since it was behind a butte, but it had large sites and great for a base camp. Jackson Hole & Yellowstone are just a short drive away and can be easily reached for day trips.
Glacier has always been our favorite park. If your car can stand the rough ride I have to recommend you stay at bowman lake, very remote area on the NW side of the park. If you don't want to stay in such a primitive area at least make the drive to Polebridge and have dinner at the Northern Lights.
