Seattle and surrounding area
Hi, trying to plan a summer vacation near Seattle in June. We have family there, so lodging isnt a problem. But what kind of activities are we looking at? We are planning on going to a baseball game, and there's always the fish market. We will be there for close to 12 days and will need ideas to fill the time. Thanks!!!!

I noticed you added Oregon to the tag. You will probably want to rent a car and spend at least 2 days in Oregon. The Oregon coast is nicer for tourism than the Washington coast. The Columbia Gorge and Mount Hood are worth seeing.

There is loads to do:
Pike Place Market
Waterfront
The Space Needle and International Fountain
Ferry to Bainbridge Island
Pioneer Square
Seattle Art Museum
Olympic Sculpture Park
Woodland Park Zoo
Safeco Field
Experience Music Project
Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame
Chinatown for a meal and Uwajimaya Asian Market
Argosy cruise through the Locks
A night at Jazz Alley or the Triple Door
Performance at Seattle Rep, Intiman, or ACT
You could also give your hosts a break by taking day or overnight trips to Mt Rainier, the Olympic National Park, the San Juan Islands, the North Cascades, etc. Perhaps you find some ideas here:

12 days is a good chunk of time. How about taking 5 days and getting out of the city... maybe heading out to the Pacific Coast? Or going over the North Cascades Highway out to Methow Valley, the Mazama area is incredibly beautiful. Or to the San Juan islands?
Sure there's lots to see and do in Seattle, but I think 7 days would be plenty to cover all the main sights.
