Seattle - cruise terminal to hobby shop

We want to get up to American Eagles Hobby shop at 12537 Lake City during our day visit to Seattle. I believe our ship should be docked at the Terminal 30 Cruise Facility. It looks like a fair distance to the hobby shop so we probably wouldn't want to take a taxi. Is there an easy way to get there and back by bus? This will be in April.

Although the transit system in Seattle is not the best, it is possible to get from Terminal 30 to Lake City Way in about 45 minutes or so. Lake City Way is a major street. First, go to King County Metro, http://transit.metrokc.gov/, and go to trip planner. Enter the beginning place, Terminal 30, if that is what it is, and the ending place, 12537 Lake City Way Ne. It will give you several options. It shouldn't cost more than a couple of dollars which will leave you more to spend in the shop!

Greetings from Seattle.
Go to this site:
http://tripplanner.metrokc.gov/
You can put in the address of the cruise terminal and the Hobby Shop and get the bus route. To drive it would it probably take you less than 30 minutes. Oops-- I see ehenyey just shared the same info. But I think it's closer than 45 min. Enjoy.

One more question. Can anyone tell me if there is anything of interest near this hobby shop, such as other shops or good restaurants? Or would we be better off to get right back to downtown Seattle after visiting the hobby shop? We'll be there later this month.
