SeaTac to Pike Place Market area via Light Rail

I arrive at SEATAC tomorrow and plan to take the light rail into town. Can anyone tell me the line and the name of the stop closest to Pike Place? I am not familiar with Seattle at all and the soundtransit website is confusing to me.
Thanks so much.

Get off at the Westlake stop (Nordstrom is upstairs). When on the street, walk west on Pine toward Puget Sound. It's the direction that is not uphill. It is about a five-block walk.

Thanks so much for your prompt reply. Sounds simple enough.

It is simple There is only the one line, so you just board at the airport and ride to the last stop (Westlake) as HTTY described. Be sure and buy your ticket before boarding. You can't buy them on the train.

I wanted to let you know that I ended up taking the Downtown Airporter Bus to the Sheraton Hotel and then a taxi since I had so much luggage and it was easier to get to than the Light Rail. Total cost including tips was $25.00.

Hi! Thanks for checking back in. As much as I am grateful for the new Lightrail from the airport, unless a person only has one small wheeled suitcase, I think the Airporter Bus is a much better option.

Yes, thanks for the report. We have found that taking a taxi, limo, or van from an airport to a hotel is almost always money well spent. I'd rather spend travel money on taxis than some other indulgence--such as wine at dinner.
