Screwed up , no tickets for Pearl Harbour left
Hi , well pulled a big dummy. Prebooked tickets for Arizona /Pearl Harbour but did it late at night and put in wrong date,, ok, I can live with the loss, but now trying to rebook , guess what no tickets left for any time slot on any day of our visit.
Leaving in a few days for Hawaii.
I understand you can get walk up tickets.
My question , how early should we be there to get walk up tickets, I have heard they run out of them usually..
So, 7 am, 8 am , 9am,, unfortunately will be with teen girls and they are not keen on getting up earilier then we need to, but since they really want to go to Pearl Harbour they are willing to get up.. but how early folks?
Thanks

I'd find out when they open that day and be there right when they open. If you're coming from the mainland 7am will not feel so bad...so I don't think it will be a big deal if you go there at the begining of your trip before you get used to the time difference and start waking up later. Remember that you aren't allowed any bags, backpacks etc. so you'd have to leave most of it at your condo or hotel safe. I think they allowed a (small) camera case. It's best not to leave any valuables in your car. I stuffed everything into my pockets

NON event, got there at 8:15 on Sunday Saturday April 13th and got tickets for 9:30 trip to Arizona, enjoyed the hour and 15 minutes in the museum and wandering the grounds. It was nice getting there early , by the time we left ( around 11.30 ) it was getting busy.
Rent the audio guides, we felt they made the visit far more meaningful then just walking through the museum, plus it covers more then just the indoors section of museum, in fact, if you somehow miss out on tickets for Arizona we felt you still get just as much out of visit by learning about the whole event/site with audio guides... remember, the Arizona is the tomb of many , but certainly the entire harbour area holds the remains of many and the whole site is a memorial as far as we were concerned.
