I can't comment on the hotels you have mentioned but we just got back from the area and stayed at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Scottsdale and I can highly recommend it. Large bedroom and the other room had couch, desk, refrigerator, microwave and sink. That room was seperated by french doors from the bedroom area, two tv's. Also had a managers happy hour and the Holiday Inn breakfast is included. The location was about 3 blocks from the historic area. I would also suggest the mexican resturant Frank and Lupe's located on Marshall.
