Scottsdale hotel one night

Two friends, one night stay, flying out the next morning, interest shopping, budget $300 or less in mid April. Can you suggest a good hotel choice? Thank you.

Not sure of the price point on these but:

Royal Palms Resort
Firesky Resort[kimpton]

They should join InTouch program and they may find a last minute [7 day out] deal at Firesky.

Thanks, Deb. I do love Kimptons and the price right now is pretty good. Is it convenient to the airport?

Airport is south of Scottsdale, near Tempe and ASU, but easy enough to get to from Scottsdale.

As Happy said, airport is close but not a hop skip and jump to Scottsdale. We have been to Royal Palms twice and love it. Heading to Firesky next week for first time; will report back. There is also a Palomar in downtown PHX.

We are staying at the Palomar for the first part of the trip. Let me know your take on Fire Sky.

We are staying at Palomar too! Then after Firesky; we head to Amara in Sedona - the Kimpton AZ trifecta!

There are freeways you can take to the airport as it's adjacent to several. Not a great airport, needs a update and makeover for sure. The rental car pickup and return is away from the terminals, all together in one large building so allow time for that.
