Trying to plan my day at the original park. Want to do mostly tube rides, but don't want to START the day be getting on one ride that starts on one end of the park and finishes on the other. Then we have to walk all the way back. We'd like to do that mid-day.
Considering that, which rides should we ride first and where do they end?
Looking at double loop, # 23 (map #). What about Hillside #20, where does it end? #24 Whitewater? Looks as though #16-Raging river goes to the other side, where we would then ride #33, Congo River.
Any help?

Topping for you although I think you're taking this water park out in the middle of nowhere thing a bit too seriously...enjoy all that EXERCISE
Schiltterbahn NB is 3 completely separate parts. The older, west part which uses Comal river water, the 2 newer east parts which use pool water.
You have to take a bus from west to east and back. The thrill rides are all on the east, whereas the west is comprised mostly of slides, tubes, and downhill flats. I like to start my day on the older west side, and hop over to the east after lunch.
The only float that really takes you farther away is #32 the TUNNEL TUBE CHUTE. #33 Congo is an endless loop. You can get in or out at numerous spots, or just go around and around.
The older, west side has a lot of nice shade, plenty of places to stash your picnic & towels. The east side is much more open. There are lots of big umbrellas but choice spots fill up early.
I do agree that you're overthinking a particular order to the rides. You will be doing a lot of walking all day anyway, from the bottom of rides back up to the top, etc. Nothing is really that far. It's not like Disney's Magic kingdom where it can take 20min to traverse the park.
We have season passes but I can't really help you. I have teens who just go to whatever ride they want to ride next. If you are just staying in one section (the original one) it's really not THAT much walking. Have a blast!
We love Schlitterbahn, but I admit we've never had a plan going there; we just ride whatever looks fun whenever the mood strikes us.
