Scenic Drives from Santa Rosa
We will be in Santa Rosa for two days: March 21-23, 2017.
While there we want to explore every possible interesting back road and scenic drive. What are your favorites?
We will visit the grounds of some wineries, but we will not attend any tasting.

Go west on 12 to get to Bodega Bay. There is a fairly big State Park (Annadell?) SE of town.
Are you going to go to Sonoma?
With my GPS I would go on geocaching.com and look for geocaches nearby. You discover places you never knew existed that way.
If you want to have an even bigger expanse of beach, go to Point Reyes.

You can go over to Bodega Bay, then head up Hwy 1 to Jenner. Head back inland on Hwy 116. Visit Korbel or other wineries. Armstrong Redwoods turnoff is also off Hwy 116. If you have more time, you can take the Westside Road along the Russian River up to Healdsburg or the Dry Creek Valley.
