My DIL to be would like to get married in Savannah. I live in California. She has asked me to help her find a mansion to hold the wedding. She says 75 guests and would like to have the meal catered by her favorite restaurant rather than the venue.

I have found several nice places on VRBO to accommodate our family for the stay but if you are familiar with Savannah and can recommend someplace for a wedding, I would sincerely appreciate hearing about it.

I think they will allow outside catering. That is the big problem. Most venues want to provide the food.

I think her favorite restaurant is Huey but she is checking to make sure they do catering. I thought the menu looked New. Orleansish but she called it low country.

Thanks for the tips. Will check them out. Her Mom and I already came up with brockington hall. It looks lovely.

We are also now looking in Atlanta - my sister suggested Carl house.

PS. I told her that looking for a venue that allowed outside catering would limit her choices so may have to forget the outside catering.
