Savannah - Fly into???

Jump to last reply

We are wanting to spend a few days in Savannah in mid November. Our choices of arrival airports [via Southwest] are: CHS, ATL and JAX. I know that Charleston is the closest, then Jacksonville and Atlanta the furthest.

Way fewer points to fly into ATL with many more flights to pick from tempt us. More points, late arrival/early departure times detract CHS and JAX.

Looking for input on the drive time for each of these. I have looked up online and know the times and mileage; so really what I am looking for is it worth an extra hour drive each way to use ATL?

Arrival would be evening on a Sunday and departure would be mid to late afternoon on a Thursday.

Thanks~
