Are you sure you don't mean SchaumburG, IL - which has a HUGE amount of restaurants and things to do. Where will you be staying in Schaumburg/Schaumbury?

The Daily Herald is the surban newspaper (and I believe #2 or 3 in the state) Below is a link to their entertainment section. This section comes out on Fridays so it may change tomorrow but there is more info there than you could possibly digest:

wow, for a moment I thought "two people going to schaumburg in one day, what are the chances of that"? I know there are quite a few pubs, resturants, etc. by Woodfield Mall, that is sadly about the extent of my knowledge (I pretty much only venture out there for my annual Ikea pilgramage), but noticed the last time I was out there that area seems like it has plenty of options
