A relative is getting married in Pescadero, CA in November. We would like to arrange a winery tour to 3 or 4 wineries in the area. We have use of the resort shuttle but need to make the tour arrangements. Any suggestions of nearby wineries is greatly appreciated. Because of the location of the resort, all of the wine areas seem to be about an hour away, give or take 10 minutes. Are there tour companies that may be better to use, as opposed to me putting the pieces together myself? I have found random information on the Corallitos/Aptos, Scotts Valley/Felton, and Half Moon Bay areas. Is any area better than the other? Are any of the wines produced better than the others? Are any of the tours better than the others? Help . . . .

If it's for wine tasting, it might be better to go where the Bonny Doon winery has its tasting room (https://www.bonnydoonvineyard.com/visit_us/ ). There are another three or four wine tasting rooms in the same complex.

I would suggest either the Highway 35 (Thomas Fogarty, Byington, and David Bruce) or the Highway 85 one (Ridge, Cooper-Garrod).
You could have your resort shuttle drive you around any of these wineries in any combination you'd like. You could get together with their concierge and map out a route.
I haven't gone winetasting in the Santa Cruz area for many years, so don't have other suggestions. Maybe someone with more recent experience will chime in.

35 is the way to go.
I don't know where the 85 came from. It's a freeway in the San Jose area.
To get to the wineries on that particular tour, like Ridge and Pecchetti wineries, the best access is from Highway 85.
We go hiking in those hills.

Is advertising allowed - even if it for wineries?
Actually, I was going to mention Swift Street Courtyard too. It's a convenient collection of foodie / wine heaven. I personally wasn't bothered by the mild plug.
Fogarty is located in a beautiful location with a gorgeous view of the Bay Area on a clear day. I don't drink wine, but I have gone there just to enjoy the views and the deck. I give it as gifts and those on the receiving end seem to enjoy it.
