San Francisco Skyline Cocktail Suggestions
I will be in San Francisco next week and would like to get a drink and watch sunset at one of the "skyline" bars. I am considering Harry Denton's at the Drake, Crown Room at Fairmont and Cliff House. I will be with my wife and we are both under 30. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I second the bar at the top of the Bank of America building (555 California St.). BTW, the restaurant/bar is called the Banker's Club during the day and the Carnelian Room at night.
The view from the 52nd floor is extraordinary, to the point where you might feel a little dizzy! Plus, even if it's a foggy day, the building is so high that you would probably be above the fog. And if the evening fog is just starting to roll in, it's very dramatic to watch its progress through the Golden Gate. Make sure you get seated in one of the alcoves right next to a window - slip the waiter a bill if you have to.
